Workplace Injury Medical Exams at Northeast Medical Clinic
IMPORTANT NOTICE
WCB medical services are NOT available for walk-in patients, appointments are required.
Northeast Medical Clinic provides WCB (Workers’ Compensation Board) medical services for patients who require assessment and documentation related to a workplace injury or illness. All WCB services are provided by scheduled appointment only and in accordance with WCB-Alberta requirements.
Our clinic is located in Northeast Calgary and supports workers and employers with appropriate medical evaluations and reporting.
Workplace Injury Medical Exams
A workplace injury medical exam is conducted to assess an injury or illness that occurred in the course of employment.
These exams may include:
- Medical assessment of the reported workplace injury
- Review of medical history related to the injury
- Physical examination, when appropriate
- Completion of WCB-required medical documentation
All assessments are based on clinical findings and WCB guidelines.
WCB Documentation & Reporting
When appropriate, physicians may:
- Complete WCB medical forms
- Provide medical opinions within scope of assessment
- Recommend follow-up care or referrals
Documentation is completed according to WCB-Alberta standards and clinical judgment.

- WCB services are provided by appointment only
- Walk-in visits are not accepted for WCB cases
- Patients should bring any WCB claim information or documentation provided by their employer
